The Minister of Defence of the Republic of Albania, Arben Imami, has stated that Albania will support Montenegro on its path towards full membership in NATO and expressed hope that the Chicago summit will mark the last stage of the accession of Montenegro to the North Atlantic Alliance.

Commandant of the U.S. Army War College, Major General Gregg Martin, presented Lieutenant Colonel Rajko Pesic with the Legion of Merit today. Decree on Lt. Col. Pesic award was issued by President Barack Obama for outstanding merits in establishing military – diplomatic relations between Montenegro and the United States.
