U.S. Military provides helicopter assistance

U.S. Military provides helicopter assistance A Black Hawk UH-60A+ medical evacuation aircraft and UH-60A Lift Helicopter arrived in Podgorica. In response to the Montenegrin Government’s request for assistance from NATO, the United States deployed these two U.S. Army Black Hawk helicopters and a support crew of over 40 to Montenegro.

United States is deploying helicopters for assistance to the endangered in Montenegro

In response to the Montenegrin Government’s request for assistance from NATO, the United States is deploying two U.S. Army Black Hawk helicopters and a support crew of over 40 to Montenegro. One of the Black Hawk helicopters is a HH-60 medical evacuation aircraft, while the other is a HH-60 Lift Helicopter.

In a very difficult situation that has befallen Montenegro due to bad weather conditions the help of friendly countries has already arrived. The Hellenic Republic sent a Super Puma helicopter and rescue team specialized in working in extreme conditions, the helicopter will be at Montenegro disposal until it is needed.

Sick boy has been evacuated from the village Strug

In the early morning hours, members of the Air Force of Armed Forces of Montenegro and medical team from emergency service with the helicopter of the Armed Forces of Slovenia, by the request of the Operational Headquarters for Emergency Situations of Montenegro, carried out an evacuation of the sick boy from the village Strug, the Municipality of Šavnik.

Evacuation of the sick

Mountain battalion, at the request of the Crisis center of the Municipality of Pljevlja, evacuated Mr Obrad Dzuver from the village Crljenice. The team of six members transported the sick person to the vehicle, by which he was transported, with the assistance of the team of the Health center in Pljevlja, to that institution. After the action, which lasted around six hours, medical examination and provided care in the Health center, Mr Dzuver was sent home.
