Deputy Minister for development and protection of information and communication systems Mira Cerovic and Deputy Minister of Defence of the Republic of Bulgaria Valentin Radev signed the Agreement on the free right to use the Bulgarian product - national codification software BULCOD.

Mijailo Vuk Perišić, Sergeant First Class, died on 10 October 2011 at the military base "Pannonia" in Pol-e Khomri, Afghanistan. Born on 21 February 1971 in Nikšić, he was a member of the fourth contingent of the Armed Forces of Montenegro in the United Nations mission ISAF in Afghanistan since 22 August 2011.

Members of the Armed Forces of Montenegro and the Ministry of Defence celebrated today, 7 October, the Day of the Armed Forces of Montenegro. The official ceremony was held at the Barracs "Milovan Saranovic" in Danilovgrad.

Minister of Defence Boro Vucinic opened the Conference of the representatives of the OSCE participating States and the OSCE Mission to Montenegro. The Conference is an opening activity of the OSCE visit to the Air Force Base and Army Brigade of the Armed Forces of Montenegro.

Minister of Defence Boro Vucinic participated today in the Republic of Poland at the working meeting of defence ministers of EU member countries, candidate countries and NATO member non-EU countries. The meeting was organized by the Polish Defence Minister Tomasz Siemoniak and EU High Representative for Foreign and Security Policy Catherine Ashton. The meeting is part of the Republic of Poland's agenda of its six-month EU presidency.

Minister of Defence Boro Vucinic received today the Ambassador of the Slovak Republic Mr. Frantisek Lipka, and the newly appointed Military Attaché, Colonel Joseph Vystavel. Minister Vucinic expressed his satisfaction with the meeting with Ambassador Lipka and congratulated Colonel Vystavel for the new position of Military Attaché of the Slovak Republic in Montenegro.
