Mijailo Vuk Perišić, Sergeant First Class, died on 10 October 2011 at the military base "Pannonia" in Pol-e Khomri, Afghanistan. Born on 21 February 1971 in Nikšić, he was a member of the fourth contingent of the Armed Forces of Montenegro in the United Nations mission ISAF in Afghanistan since 22 August 2011.

The meeting was organized by the Polish Defence Minister Tomasz Siemoniak and EU High Representative for Foreign and Security Policy Catherine Ashton. The meeting is part of the Republic of Poland's agenda of its six-month EU presidency.
